Hello, world!

Welcome to my attempt to make local excursions a little easier for pet owners and their four-legged friends. I was inspired to create this site after my friend Maria rattled off the dozen or so places she had found near Georgetown who love her hyper little puppy. Though Georgetown and Capitol Hill both have relatively pet-friendly reputations in the area, I still hesitate to bring my munchkin along for fear that she will have to sit in the hot car or stay tied to a random bike rack while I shop. Hopefully, the information provided here will help everyone who has these problems!
